I always tell people that the real estate company is only as good as the agent you're working with...and they always agree. Common sense, practicality, courtesy and loyalty are what I consider to be among my better qualities. They also happen to be what I look for in a client, whether they are buyers or sellers. The things my clients should also be looking for are experience, thoroughness, education and dedication. As a Realtor for the past 16 years I've held a Broker's license in 2 U.S. states plus my sales license here in Ontario. I've owned and operated my own brokerages down in the USA and dealt with everything from orange groves to Victorian homes and everything in between. As an eternal optimist I find that I gravitate towards some of the more challenging properties....on the market 3 years (pick me!), not enough equity to pay the Realtor (pick me!) your last remaining asset in this world (pick me!). Seriously though, these types of properties have always paved the way to more fruitful transactions and the satisfaction I get in helping people solve their real estate problems is one of the main reasons I continue to stay in the business.
