Rory came highly recommended by a good friend after we had tried to sell our home without success with another agent for several months. He spent several hours getting to know us and explained how the house would be listed and marketed.
He took extra care to analyse the market to make sure that our home was priced properly and that all the best features were listed. He made accurate measurements and took photos to show the house to its best advantage.
Even during a quiet time in the market he arranged showings to have multiple people coming through at the same time. This relieved us from last minute phone calls and hurried tidying up for one potential buyer. Within the first week, we received three offers to purchase.
When the prospective purchasers came for the home inspection, Rory was there to answer any questions the prospects had, or called us on the cell phone for answers. When a concern arose with the inspection, he arranged for a minor repair to be done with a contractor which met the prospects satisfaction.
Without him being there, the deal could have collapsed and we had a firm and binding agreement within two weeks. Once the purchase offer was accepted and all subjects removed, he assisted us to look for a new home.
We received emails with current new listings and there was a feedback section where we could comment to assist in selecting appropriate homes to view. He pointed out the good and bad aspects of each home viewed while objectively keeping our specially sought after preferences in mind.

No bridge financing was needed as our sales proceeds were applied to the purchase. Prior to the new home possession we had plenty of time to have two garage sales and complete the packing.
On moving day, Rory was there to make sure the new owners received the keys on time. As our movers were still packing up, he even rolled up his sleeves and assisted with some of the cleanup. Rory established such good rapport with both the purchasers and sellers that our dual move was as seamless as any house move could be.
From the time the old house was listed to the signing of the purchase of the new home was a total of four weeks.
