Mike experienced his first move at 5 weeks old, and it didn't stop there!  In a military family, he had the opportunity to grow up in a variety of cities in Ontario including Oakville, Trenton, Embrun, Ottawa, Petawawa and Kingston. 

He has pride in, and concern for the Kingston community.  He supports "Going Green” by meticulously sorting recycling and participating in the new composting program.  He has dedicated himself to serving the community by preparing food at Martha’s Table, and helping out at the Salvation Army Family Thrift Store.

His wife Millie is the Head Chef at the landmark restaurant Chez Piggy, in downtown Kingston.  Mike and Millie have a wonderful 3 year old son named Logan, and a more recent addition, Marcus.  Family activities include biking and camping in the summer, and tearing down Fort Henry Hill in the winter.
