I received my Saskatchewan Real Estate License in 1988 and sold real estate in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan until my husband and I relocated to Victoria, B.C. in 1989.
I obtained my B.C. Real Estate Salesperson license and joined the office of NRS until 1991 when I joined Sutton Group-Westcan Realty, and have been with them since that time.
In 1992 I furthered my education and obtained my license as a Real Estate Agent 9.15, with the designation changed to Associate Broker under the Real Estate Services Act.
In 1992 I also completed the prescribed Realty Watch: Home Security course through the Victoria Real Estate Board in co-operation with Victoria’s police community, and was active in doing home security assessments until the program was terminated.
In 1997 I successfully met the professional, educational and experience requirements through the Real Estate Institute of Canada and was awarded the Certified Real Estate Specialist (CRES) designation.
I sat on the Real Estate Institute of Canada Management Board - Victoria Chapter as CRES Committee Chair for a two year term from 1997 to 1998.
I received my FRI (Fellow of the Real Estate Institute) designation from the Real Estate Institute of Canada in July of 2008
I am a recipient of the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) Silver Award with the Victoria Real Estate Board as well as a recipient of the Sutton Group Platinum Award for outstanding achievements.
In order to keep abreast of the real estate market, and the ever changes, I continuously attend seminars and courses offered through the British Columbia Real Estate Association and Victoria Real Estate Board.
