For me, real estate is a family affair. My mother, Clara, began her real estate career in 1976, culminating in over 20 years of sales success. Before retiring, Clara and I worked together for 5 years, providing me with invaluable experience and enjoyment working as a mother/daughter team. I am pleased to continue offering real estate services to clients we gathered together as well as to the many clients I have gained in the ensuing years.
I completed the requirements for my real estate trading license in 1996 through the University of British Columbia. I went on to complete the requirements for my real estate broker’s license in 1998 and was the broker for Sutton’s Duncan office in 2002. I continue to upgrade my real estate education through various seminars offered through the British Columbia Real Estate Association and the Vancouver Island Real Estate Board. Previous to my real estate career, I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Sociology at the University of Guelph, Ontario.
My personal interests include gardening, tennis, walking, running, yoga, cooking and water colour painting. I enjoy Vancouver Island’s weather, seasons and many enjoyable places including Victoria, Nanaimo, Courtney, Comox, Parksville, Rathtrevor beach, the waterfront walkway in Nanaimo and Victoria. These are just a few of the many fantastic spots we have available to us on the island. I also enjoy the convenience of the ferries from Departure Bay and Duke Point in Nanaimo and Swartz Bay in Victoria, as well as the airports in both Nanaimo and Victoria..
