The city of Red Deer is located approximately half way between Calgary and Edmonton having the added advantage of easy access to either airport.

While Red Deer has grown rapidly over the last ten years it has maintained many of the features which bikers and joggers enjoy, the paths that allow you to get from one end of the city to the other away from traffic for much of the time in green or treed areas.

Red Deer provides a full range of educational services with public and seperate schools and Red Deer College, which grants undergraduate degrees.  Thus the children can obtain the majority of their education while living at home.

For the hockey fans and participants there are numerous indoor arenas including the Centrium, which is home to the Red Deer Rebels. If you are a sports enthusiast interested in other areas of sports there are many opportunities with a variety of indoor and outdoor complexes throughout the city.
